Contrarily to other fungi, powdery mildew loves hot and dry weather. It is therefore likely to appear in high summer on area that are exposed to the sun.

Harm Caused by Powdery Mildew

In early stage, the leaves and stems are covered with a white powder. In an advanced stage, leaves turn brown-grey and dry out.
